Dr Erika is a proud Ngurrabul and Goomeroi woman from Glen Innes in Northern NSW, currently living and working on Awabakal land in Newcastle. Erika is in her fourth and final year of Basic Training at the John Hunter Hospital where she will commence Advanced Training in 2025 as the SR (Senior O&G Registrar) and planning to commence a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound and apply for Maternal & Fetal Medicine subspecialty training. Dr Erika is an avid member of her hospital and wider Aboriginal Medical community with AIDA and RING, expressing a strong ambition to improve maternal and perinatal outcomes for First Nations women of her community. |
