A/Prof Renuka Shanmugalingam is a nephrologist and obstetric medicine physician with a clinical and research interest in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and renal disease in pregnancy. Renuka is an executive council member of SOMANZ and recently led the development of SOMANZ’s Hypertension in Pregnancy Guideline 2023. She is also part of the ANZSN Parenthood in Renal Disease working group, which works towards optimising and managing a national dataset that captures parenthood outcomes and events for patients receiving dialysis or transplant. |
