Arianne Sweeting MBBS Hons, BSc, GradDip HL, FRACP, PhD Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney, Australia Endocrinologist, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Australia Dr Arianne Sweeting is a clinical academic endocrinologist at the University of Sydney and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia. She established and leads their Metabolic Health in Pregnancy clinical research program. Dr Sweeting’s primary research interest is in diabetes in pregnancy and she has published extensively in the areas of early gestational diabetes, early pregnancy risk stratification and precision medicine in diabetes. Her research has led to several international and national diabetes in pregnancy leadership roles, including the International Association of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Groups (IADPSG) Council, Chair of the American Diabetes Association /European Association for the Study of Diabetes Precision Medicine in Diabetes Initiative (ADA/EASD PMDI) Gestational Diabetes Diagnosis Working Group, diaTribe Pregnancy and Diabetes Consensus Expert Group, Past President and Chair of the Australasian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society (ADIPS) and member of the Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemists Preanalytical Glucose Working Group. |
