Dr Emily Aldridge

Dr Emily Aldridge is a medical scientist and postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Cardiology, NALHN, and an associate lecturer at the Adelaide Medical School, The University of Adelaide. Her work specialises in detection and prevention of cardiometabolic disease in women after complicated pregnancies. Her research interests also include social determinants of health, psychosocial health, and preventive health in individuals from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Her doctoral work was instrumental in establishing and refining South Australia’s first nurse-led, scientist-supported model of care for women with a history of pregnancy complications.
