Professor Lisa Hui

Lisa Hui is a maternal fetal medicine specialist with research interests in prenatal screening and diagnosis. She is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Newborn Health at the University of Melbourne and Group Leader of Reproductive Epidemiology at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. She holds clinical appointments at the Mercy Hospital for Women and Northern Health.

She was awarded an MRFF clinical investigator fellowship in the Genomics Health Futures Priority scheme and is an active member of the International Society for Prenatal Diagnosis. She currently leads projects in prenatal screening for fetal genetic conditions, and congenital cytomegalovirus infections. She is also a chief investigator in an Australian clinical trial of mitochondrial donation, MitoHOPE.
